Fall Colors Dazzle New Running Club Members
The 2017 Colorado Mountain College Running Club has been taking running club members on runs through the forests of the beautiful Leadville Campus. The fall colors are exploding throughout the groves of the white barked aspen trees. Oranges, reds, and the well known yellows keep runners in good spirits while exploring the new trails. The shadows give off an orange and yellow aura when the sun hits the tress just right. Golden leafs line the trails to give them a “Yellow Brick Road” look. Snow is starting to fall on the high peaks surrounding the campus. The contrast of the white snow, golden leafs, and green pine trees give runners an extra push to stay on the trails for more miles. It is truly magical. Be sure to get on the trails as soon as possible. The leafs will be falling soon. Don’t miss out!
Enjoy the pictures and be sure to join in on club runs every weekday from 10:00 AM-11:30 AM. We meet in the Pinnacle building by the fireplace. Our runs take place on the gorgeous trails that encircle the CMC Leadville Campus. All abilities and ages are welcome. We will do fun runs, group workouts, and socialize while enjoying the beautiful landscapes and forests that CMC Leadville provides to all students.
Look for an article coming soon on the annual Haunted Hills Races. Details on registration and the schedule will be provided.
